Have we lost our Mind???

The pictures you are seeing are of peoples from    kasargod, a district of kerala state, India.
Because of a  Insecticides, Endosulfan, These peoples are or were suffering their whole life.
You may ask What is Endosulfan??
A:Endosulfan is an off-patent organochlorine insecticide and acaricide that is being phased out globally. Endosulfan became a highly controversial agrichemical due to its acute toxicity, potential for bioaccumulation, and role as an endocrine disruptor. Because of its threats to human health and the environment, a global ban on the manufacture and use of endosulfan was negotiated under the Stockholm Convention in April 2011.
in India, three companies — Excel Crop Care,   Hindustan Insecticides Ltd, and Coromandal Fertilizers —produce 4,500 tonnes annually for domestic use and another 4,000 tonnes for export.
  Let us see its effects__
Between 1976 and 2000, more than 50,000 villagers of Kasargod district in Kerala, India have been exposed to endosulfan, a persistent organic pesticide, sprayed on the cashew plantations owned by the Plantation Corporation of Kerala. More than 3000 people living near, downstream and downwind of the estate were affected by debilitating rare diseases like mental retardation, cerebral palsy, cancer etc.

Kasaragod, once known for its greenery today is haunted by diseases and tragedy. Thanks to hamlets of cashew plantations spread along the district.

More than 80 countries, including the European Union, Australia and New Zealand, several West African nations, the United States, Brazil and Canada had already banned it or announced phase outs by the time the Stockholm Convention ban was agreed upon. And the thing whats most disturbing is its still produced in india and in that large measure. Some of you may have seen the Shameless Owner of company which produces the most Endosulfan and other dangerous insecticides and pestices in Satyameva jayate!!
The main question, Why Make so much money killing peoples?? Taking their hope to live..??

My un-organised thoughts

How can you define a winner?? I think there is no such thing as The Ultimate Winner. Like there is no Ultimate destination. you cant be a winner always or loser always. And there is no place in your life where you will say I've travelled a lot, Lets stay here and enjoy. No, you move on and thats life, it moves on. If a winner stops competing, there comes a new winner. So this so called tag winner is fatal, It comes and goes.. You cant be a winner forever, atleast facts say so, and people too!! If Michael Schumaker or Djokovich  think that they r winners, people will also think  that they r winners untill they stops racing or hitting aces, then there will be a new one to replace him.

THE DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL BY ANNE FRANK.

THE DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL BY ANNE FRANK.
I read this book two or three months ago, and its a must read classic.
" Anne Frank, her parents, sister, another family, and an older gentleman were Jews in the Netherlands during the German occupation of World War II. These eight people hid in a secret alcove above a factory. Anne had a friend who listened to all her thoughts during the next two years. "Kitty" was her diary." -This is what i copied from a site for a general acquaintance with the the characters.
When i was reading the book i was visualizing all the scenes, like it was happening in front of me...actually it rarely happens with me.
She expressed a desire for immortality through her writing, though you sometimes wonder what she would have made of the kind of immortality she has achieved.
Lets get back on kitty, Anne's parents gave her 'Kitty' on her birthday. And she started writing in it very quickly, and took Kitty very seriously.  The boys who were in love with her were discussed and described, as well as her reactions. And those discussions were just awesome, ( I'm not able to find the right word for it, but lets settle with awesome).
In a few years they were not safe there, either. Finally, after Mr. Frank(Father of ANNE) was called to report to the Germans, they went into hiding in the "Secret Annexe". The Von Daan family joined them since the two men were business partners. They stayed in the "Secret Annexe" over two years before they were found and arrested by the Germans. Of the eight residents, only Mr. Frank survived the concentration camps.

The book speaks for itself. Really it is one of the most finest books i've read...

Well its just a perfect day..It cant be better, instead of getting down in the station i used to, i just got down in the next station.. And the all time tensed peoples of my house thought that i slept in the train, which caused me to walk in the rail for over one hour. First of all i used to think that i am a very brave man!! but at that point of time i was afraid!! seriously, it was 10pm, n pitch dark but thank god my i had a torch in my mobile..that relieved me a bit. AND i was afraid of the so called BHOOTS( ghosts, in India we call it bhoot), well because there was a graveyard in the way. AND despite of that fact that i was afraid i cant tell everyone that i was afraid because it will ruin my repo.. i.e. reputation in the rate at which a house of playing cards get scrambled when someone touches it. But finally my savior i.e. ME got an adrenaline rush and i walked and walked very quickly. But i still regret calling at home, they called at least 20 times. they send a rescue team which included some of the heroic persons in of our village. Well that was one good ghostly experience, though there was no special appearance of ghostss.....:-)
